児童英語を教えているとはいえ、ほとんど専業主婦と言ってもいい私ですが、毎日なんだかんだと忙しい。

幼稚園の役員を終えたと思うと、今年は自治会の役員になり、体育部の担当になりました。

８月４日に夏祭りを控え、昨日は体育部の３人で寄付金集めに回りました。

子供たちはその間、学校のプールへ。

帰宅後、昼食作り。

その後、NTTの方が電話線の修理に来てくれ対応。

次に長女を塾に送って行き、そのまま長男と図書館へ。ここで、しばし英語の勉強プラス、時々長男が持ってくる絵本を読み聞かせ。

帰宅後、夕食作り。

長女の塾のお迎え。

それ以外にももちろん掃除・洗濯・布団干しなどなど。特に夏はあっという間に洗濯ものが渇くので、１日３回くらい洗濯機を回します。

それでも、こうやって元気に動けることが何よりです。

さて、またしても食事 :drink: の記録です。。。 だって送別会が多いんだもの :clap: 。 これは昨日、 銀座蔵人に伺った時の写真。 ごはんも結構美味しかったけど、Sさんに人生相談させてもらえていろいろ吹っ切れたkakoなのでした。 Ok, again… I went out. CEPIOでのレッスンも気がつけば５０レッスンを終了し、一通りの発音の学習は終了しました。これからは、文章を読むときのリズムを勉強していきます。

今、取り組んでいるのが、モーリス・センダック作の　Where the Wild Things Are　「かいじゅうたちのいるところ」　という絵本です。

最近映画化もされ、ご存じの方も多いと思います。

なかなか、難しいですがとても興味を持ってレッスンに取り組んでいます。

It was my husband’s birthday, and also the deadline for his doctoral dissertation!!!

To celebrate his looooong years (6 years) of hard work and his birthday, we went out for dinner at Hong Kong Side.

今日は主人の誕生日＆博士論文の締め切り日！！！

というわけで、お気に入りの広東料理店　Hong Kong Side に行きました。

As I was in Tokyo yesterday, I bought some croissants and a baguette.  Yummmmmmy!

昨日東京からの帰りに、PAULのクロワッサンとバゲットを買ってみた。
焼きたてではないけど、やっぱりおいし〜^^。サクサク。
アントワープにもお店ができたというから向こうでも食べられるのね♥

昨日、韓国を通って、カリフォルニアに着きました。寒い・・・
