Writing a Blog Post

January 4, 2010 in Blogging Tips by Kyle Yates

Here is a good way to write an interesting blog post that won’t take all day to do.

  1. First, choose a topic of interest; one you know something about and may consider yourself an expert in.
  2. Write down your thoughts putting the most important information first to capture your readers interests. Outline your thoughts. Go over the outline to make sure your point flows well. Stick to the point and don’t wander off topic.
  3. If you are writing in a language other than your native tongue, hire a native speaker to transcribe your post or get a friend who speaks the language to help you with grammar, spelling and sentence structure.
  4. Read over your article and edit it and then read it again before you publish it.
