Clogging the Internet with Cookie-cutter Style Websites is Frustrating and Avoidable

Google Adsense makes sense, but it has clogged up the Internet with cookie-cutter style websites filled with information from similar databases made by people with no regard for helping others find legitimate websites. These people have have created their website for one purpse only and that is to make money using Google Adsense. Keep in mind Google Adsense is not a bad thing. It?s actually a great tool that many people use, and use wisely. But way too many people are exploiting it and overcrowding the Net with these cookie-cutter websites.

These websites basically get their information from either Google, Yahoo or some other database website, add their Google Adsense code into the HTML and run the site like it?s some new fresh site with information pertaining to the visitors search. When in reality, it?s only a trap for the visitor to click on link after link to rack up clicks and add money in their Google Adsense account.

Way too many sites exist in the netherworld of the Internet with a sole purpose to trick people into clicking on links disguised to look like legitimate ones. Sites like these don?t make money selling services or merchandise. They get money by the number of clicks. Some sites get visitors into a clicking frenzy that lead nowhere but back to their original search page or back to Google or Yahoo. These websites are mirror images of Google and Yahoo with Google Adsense added to them to bring in the cash. They are a frustratingly endless waste of time when visited.

The best way to weed through these websites is to read the information about the sites in the search engines. If the information is repetitive and filled with similar keywords, then it is probably some site slapped together with tons of Google Adsense information pasted into it to drive money the owner?s way. Steer clear of sites like these.

Now, if you see a site with information in it that looks like someone took the time to write it out, it doesn?t mean it?s not one of these cookie-cutter sites, but you have a better chance clicking on it to find what you are looking for than the other sites.

Another good tip is to keep your eyes open for the words Google Adsense usually written so small it?s very easily missed. If you see these words in the center of the page you have come to, then the site you have come to is probably a cookie-cutter website masquerading as a legitimate one setup for the sole purpose of mining clicks. Legitimate sites will most likely have their Google Adsense information on the left or right and not dead center trying to pose as something it?s not.

KansaiConnect and KansaiSearch get the information they use by people submitting links and information, or by finding the information. The links and database are their own, not a publicly open database owned by someone else. If you want to find information about the Kansai area of Japan in English, use these sites for your next search. You'll probably find links not found in the major search engines. If you do, you will probably find them a lot faster than in Google or Yahoo because KansaiConnect and KansaiSearch don't allow just any site into their database. Their information is screened and checked first before being allowed.

Keep these things in mind on your next search and you?ll hopefully steer clear of sites disguised as legitimate ones.
