Importing a Previous Blog
Do you have a blog somewhere else that you no longer use or want to use? Import your blog posts from old sites into your new blog.
First, of course, you must have a new blog created and activated here. Once you have done that, log into your control panel/dashboard and click on Manage at the top of the opened window. From there, you’ll see a link to Import your old blog posts. After you have opened that page, you’ll see the following list:
| LiveJournal | Import posts from LiveJournal |
| DotClear | Import posts from a DotClear Blog |
| Blogger and Blogspot | Import posts and comments from your Blogger account |
| Textpattern | Import posts from a Textpattern Blog |
| RSS | Import posts from an RSS feed |
| pLog | Import posts from a pLog Blog |
Of course, if you click on these links right now while not being logged in, the links will take you no where except to a 404 page telling you you cannot access this page.
So create a blog, activate it, then import your old posts as mentioned above, and your blog will be good to go. If you have any questions about this, post a comment to this post and we’ll try to help you out.
