Blogging Editors for the Desktop
There are some good ways to write to your blogs other than the conventional login and blog way. There’s Live Writer from Microsoft, WBloggar authored by Marcelo L. L. Cabral from Brazil, WB Editor by Yiyi Sun (USD$19.99), Qumana with ad tools to make money, Ecto for Mac and Windows users (USD$17.95), Zoundry with special affiliate linking or product links, and a good many others including a new one called Flock, which is a browser, photo browser and blog editor all wrapped into one nice compact window.
Although, I haven’t used all editors, a goal I will probably never complete as new ones continue to be developed, I have used Flock (wrote this blog post with it) and like it for it’s simplicity and ease of use.
Several good attributes are the fact it ties in nicely with Flickr and Photobucket to help in posting pictures to your blog. The interface is simple yet robust and enables users to do just about everything necessary to post beautiful blogs. Tagging is also simple and publishing is straight forward and fast.
For now, I recommend Flock browser for surfing the Internet, blogging and photo uploading. Get your copy today, it’s free and is ad-free.
