If you want to make a post stay at the top of all your other posts, you now have two different plugins you can use to make it happen.

First, you can use the Sticky plugin. Activate the plugin in your Plugins area, then go to Write to make a post. Under the post you’ll find an area called Custom Fields. In the Key box type the word STICKY in uppercase letters. Then in the Value box to the right type the number 1. Then click Publish to activate your post. The post will stay at the top above all your other posts.

Now, there is also a second way to make a post stick at the top above all other posts. To do this you can use the AWSOM News plugin. Activate it and then go to Manage and click on AWSOM News.

To post a message at the top of the front page, all you have to do is edit the text in the text box on the page and click Update News. The message will show up at the top of the front page above all of your other posts. To make the message appearance better, you can use HTML in the message however you like.
