One of the best photo sites is Google’s Picasa Web Albums where you can deposit photos using the Picasa software. It’s a great way to organize your pictures on your computer and it runs much faster than other software titles.

Install Picasa on your computer and then have it find all your pictures on your computer. If you have lots of photos the process may take awhile…no way to speed that process up with any software. Once it’s located all your pictures, you can join Picasa for free and begin uploading photos to your new Picasa Web Albums area where you get 1 gigabyte of space for free.

Of course, you don’t even need to worry about this since you get that much space and more using KansaiBlogger, but some people like to put pictures on there since it is so easy to organize them using Picasa.

Once you’ve uploaded your albums, you can activate the Picasa Widget for your sidebar and show all your friends your pictures you have in your Picasa albums.

Just activate the widget, go to Presentation and place the widget somewhere in your sidebar - you must have a widget enabled theme to do this - then add your username you use in Picasa and a few other specifics. Once you’ve done that, just click the Save Changes button and your new Picasa Web Albums will be visible in your sidebar.
