Here is a good way to write an interesting blog post that won’t take all day to do.

First, choose a topic of interest; one you know something about and may consider yourself an expert in.
Write down your thoughts putting the most important information first to capture your readers interests. Outline your thoughts. Go over the outline to make sure your point flows well. Stick to the point and don’t wander off topic.
If you are writing in a language other than your native tongue, hire a native speaker to transcribe your post or get a friend who speaks the language to help you with grammar, spelling and sentence structure.
Read over your article and edit it and then read it again before you publish it.

Become a member and use your control panel in English, Japanese or Korean. Just log into the site, click on your Dashboard link then click on Settings then General. In the General settings you can switch between English, Japanese and Korean languages. Once you have clicked on the language of your choice, click the Save Changes button and you are done!

How to Change Your Avatar

First, log into KansaiBlogger. Then from the front page or anytime you are navigating the site or someone’s blog and the admin bar is present at the top of the page, you can click on My Account and scroll down to Profile and then Change Avatar.

Once the page has loaded, you will see at the bottom the option to Upload a New Avatar.

Next, after you have uploaded your photo, use the crop function, if you wish, to resize and edit how you want your avatar to look. If you don’t like that picture, upload a different one and try again. Once you have cropped it, click the Crop Image button and your avatar will be automatically added to your profile.

Adding New Themes to the Mix

Check out the newest themes added to the Dashboard the next time you log into your account. Some are colorful and others are just plain simple, but loaded with some nice features.

Small Error Fixed

The Members and Groups links would not work. Everytime someone clicked the links, they were redirected to the front page.

Fixed the problem. Had one too many folders with similar names in a directory. Solved it by deleting one!

If you ever have the same problem, just delete the bp-themes folder. wp-content/bp-themes

A Glitch

There seems to be a glitch in the system right now. No links to Friends, Groups or any other pages work. Will try to figure it out and fix it tonight! Please be patient. Thanks!

Looks Like Things Are Working Normally, Finally!

Well, first of all thank you for your patience! The past few weeks have been a real struggle. However, it looks like we have deleted whatever it was, we never really pinpointed the problem, when we loaded the previous database into the new one.

For those of you who still don’t have your blog back up, yours are next. We’ll have them up within the next day or two.

Once your blog is visible, you need to log into the site and immediate make a post. From that point, your blog should work properly. Most everyone has disabled plugins. So you’ll also need to go into your plugins area and enable whatever plugins you wish to use. Granted, right now we only have a few available. But that will soon change as we add some more back to the system…bit by bit…to ensure we have no further slowdowns or problems.

Remember to also update your profile because that may have changed in the process from being filled out to now completely blank.

Sorry for any inconveniences, but hope you enjoyed whatever time you spent away from blogging.

Solved the 500 Error Page Issue

Well, many of you will be glad, even though your blog may not be up and running right now, that we have solved the 500 error page issue.

It’s amazing how one little tiny piece of code can screw something up so dramatically!
